On January 20, 2026, EVE Power Hungary held a press conference in Debrecen to announce that it will launch a large-scale recruitment campaign in the first half of the year, aiming to hire approximately 400 new employees in the city and surrounding areas.
This workforce expansion is intended to support the ramp-up and preparation of production at the new Debrecen plant. As part of the 400 billion HUF investment, the company will manufacture battery cells for the BMW Group on a 45-hectare site with a 450,000-square-meter facility, primarily engaging local and regional talent.
During the recruitment campaign starting at the end of January, EVE Power Hungary is primarily seeking technicians, engineers, as well as administrative and support staff.
“In the coming period, we will focus on strengthening production-related processes and aim to establish a stable long-term operation in Debrecen,” emphasized Zhang Huanting, Managing Director of EVE Power Hungary.
“We are looking for professionals who want to work in an international environment and are open to long-term career development,” said Tom Rong, HR Director at EVE Energy, noting that there is already strong interest in the positions in the region.
