1. Introduction

This privacy notice explains how EVE Power Hungary Kft. (registered office: 4025 Debrecen, Barna utca 23.; e-mail address: [evehungary@evepower.hu] (hereinafter referred to as the "Controller") processes your personal data in connection with the operation of the website www.evebattery.hu (the "Website").


2. Our data processing activities relating to the Website

Purpose of the processing

If you contact us through the Website, the purpose of the processing is to handle and respond to your enquiry.

Legal basis for processing

If you contact us through the contact forms available on the Website, or through our other contact details, the legal basis for processing is your consent [Article 6(1)(a) GDPR].

Providing consent for the processing is voluntary.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by submitting a written notice to the Controller, sent to the above postal or email address. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.

Categories of personal data processed

● Personal data provided through the enquiries or emails (such as your name, company name, job title and contact details, etc.);

● Any additional personal data that you provide to us during communications.

How long do we retain your personal data?

We retain your personal data for 5 years following the date of the initial contact, unless it becomes necessary to retain the data for a longer period for a specific reason (e.g. due to a legal dispute). In such case, we will separately inform you about the details of the continued processing.

Who has access to your personal data?

Personal data collected in connection with the operation of the Website may only be accessed by those employees of the Controller who are responsible for carrying out tasks related to the relevant processing activity.

The Controller may engage IT service providers, hosting providers and other technical service providers as processors for the operation of the Website

The Controller does not transfer personal data to any country outside the European Economic Area.

To the greatest extent possible, we ensure that appropriate confidentiality obligations as well as technical and organizational security measures are in place to prevent accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data.

● request to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from us (right to data portability).

If you consider that your rights have been infringed, you have the following options:

1. Lodging a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information ("NAIH")

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the NAIH if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes applicable laws. The NAIH investigation is free of charge. Detailed procedural rules are set out in Chapter VI of Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.

2. Bringing a claim before the courts

If you consider that the Controller's processing of your personal data has infringed your rights, you may initiate civil proceedings against the Controller, irrespective of whether you have lodged a complaint with the NAIH. As a general rule, proceedings must be brought before the competent court having jurisdiction over the Controller's registered office; however, you may also choose to bring proceedings before the competent court of your place of residence or habitual residence.


5. Amendments

The Controller may amend this Privacy Notice from time to time in order to ensure compliance with changes in its legal obligations and in the data processing activities relating to your personal data. Any material amendments to this Privacy Notice will be clearly indicated on our Website.
